He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. He entered the yard and immediately approached a male husky that was laying down in the middle of the yard. He positioned his body standing over the top of him and then laid down on him, pinning him down. He then growled and lunged to try to bite the other dog Ahandler was able to pull this dog away by his leash to prevent him making contact and the other dogran away to create space. The assessment was ended and his was removed from the yard. When being removed from the yard, he continued to pull hard to try to get back to the other dog and continued to growl. Due to his unprovoked offensive behavior in the play yard today and his attack on another dog before coming to the care center (no serious injuries were caused), he will be designated as no other dogs required. He will also require a known history of aggression disclosure fom.

He was taken to the catch pen for the handling assessment after play group. He was given a moment to acclimate to his surroundings. The handler knelt and called to him. He approached the handler with soft body language and began to seek affection. He allowed the handler to pet his head with no reaction. When the handler tried to check his teeth, he tumed his head away. He allowed the handler to check his ears with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch and lift all his paws with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch his tail with no reaction. He displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler dwing the handling. He was retumed to his kennel without issue. Due to growling during some handling on his muzzle in his medical exam and him being vision impaired, he would likely do best in an adult only home or with older respectful kids.
