He entered the play yard with soft body language. He approached a female Pitbull and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He then approached a female shepherd and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He began to roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He remained social with the female dogs in the yard. Amale dog entered the yard. He approached the male and immediately became tense, with a high stiff tail, hackles raised and forward body posture. The male appeared uncomfortable with his behavior and walked away. This dog then began to tensely trail him, maintaining the same body language and licking his lips. A handler broke his focus using a spray bottle. He approached the male again shortly after this and displayed the same challenging behavior. A handlers stepped on his leash to prevent him from following the other dog and he was removed from the yard at this time. Due to remaining social with the female dogs and his behavior toward the male dog, he will be designated as female dogs only required. Due to a prior incident with another dog, he will require a known history of aggression disclosure form. Due to the incident being caused by the person trying to introduce this stray dog to their own dog and providing no evidence of the injuries, this dog will be available for public adoption.
