Eval Comments: "The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and dunng assessment. A
dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from howthey behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences."
He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen and began to seek affection. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by a male shepherd and exchanged a soft greeting with him. He was then approached by a female shepherd and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He began to roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. He remained calm and social with the other dogs for the rest of his time in the yard. There were dogs playing during his time in the yard, but he did not engage in or entice any play. He would approach the handlers very often and seek affection. Buddy is social with the other dogs, but he displayed no play style at this time. His behavior with both people and dogs was social this time. Due to his improved and very social behavior, the adults only stipulation will be removed. Due to a bite last year, he will still require the bite disclosure for.

Eval Comments: He was standing at the kennel gate and defensively barking when the runner approached. When the runner opened the kennel
gate, he had soft body language and stopped barking. He was easy to loop leash and walked to the play yard with a moderate pull. He entered the catch pen with soft eyes and low tail. He exchanged soft greetings with the other dogs through the play yard fence. He was easily collared by the runner and began to seek affection. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by a calm female shepherd and exchange a soft greeting with her. He then began to roam the yard and explore his surroundings. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with other dogs. A female shepherd puppy would become playful toward him at times and he would push her down with his front paw. He was approached by a different female shepherd. She began to linger in his face and lick his muzzle. He appeared tense with this and then gave her a growl and show of teeth waming for space. He remained social with the other dogs but appeared to do better with the calmer dogs. He appeared more tense around handlers inside the yard. Buddy would do best with a calmer dog that would respect his boundanes. Due to a previous bite, he will require a bite disclosure fom
