About royal: This DOG - ID#A593011 I am a male, black and white Siberian Husky. Shelter staff think I am about 2 years old. I have been at the shelter since May 11, 2026. Description: I arrived at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter on 05/11/2026 from Rialto. I need specialized care. I can only be placed with an approved 501(c)(3) rescue organization due to medical needs. Treatment History 05/11/26 Dog came in off animal control truck and seemed a bit lethargic. MM are a little pale. No limping seen, walks fine. Want to feed dog and recheck him. Does not seem interested in canned food at the moment. Will run a parvo test to check. Will monitor progress. PARVO RAPID TEST NEGATIVE 05/11/26 BORDETELLA DA2PPV FLEA TRTMNT (TOPICAL) 5/12/26 Dog is quiet, alert, responsive and sitting sternal in kennel. Appears to have eaten some canned food over night. No urine or feces present in kennel. Removed dog from kennel to walk and examine outside. Dog ambulates well x4 legs. Dog doesn't appear as lethargic as yesterday as dog is more relaxed. Dog tolerated physical exam with no issues. Dog continues to have pale mm which may indicate a critical emergency such as severe shock, anemia, etc. Dog is hydrated, respiratory is WNL, does not appear painful or uncomfortable. Did not urinate or defecate outside. When placed back in kennel dog ate all canned food. Dog may need further dx and tx for underlying issues that we are unable to provide in a shelter environment. This animal requires medical care beyond what can be provided in a shelter environment. A medical deadline has been set for placement. If the animal?s condition deteriorates prior to placement, humane euthanasia may be considered. Medical deadline: 5/15/26 at 2:00 PM
