A dog's behaviormay change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by two dogs at the same time. He tolerated them sniffing him, but he was timid and did not greet them back. After the dogs broke away, he began to roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. After a short time, he began to approach other dogs and exchange soft greetings with them. After a little more time, he offered a play bowto a male shepherd, and they engaged in gentle/dainty play. He remained playful and social for the rest of his time in the yard. He would approach the handlers often and jump up seeking affection. He would benefit from some basic manners training. Noel is social with the other dogs and prefers a gentle/dainty play style. Due to a prior incident with a small dog, he will be designated as no small dogs required. Due to the prior incident being in-home and was a re-direction onto a small dog, him being playful and social with the large dogs during his assessment, he will be available for public adoption. He will require a known history of aggression disclosure fom to be signed.
