Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He approached two dogs standing next to each other and exchanged soft greetings with them both. After the dogs broke away, he began to roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. He offered a play bowto a female husky, and they engaged in gentle dainty play. He remained playful and social for the rest of his time in the yard. He would approach the handlers and seek affection. Axel is social with
the other dogs and prefers a gentle/dainty play style. He will need socialization to walking on leash.
