Eval Comments: \"The behaviors described today reflect the dog's responses in an Animal Care Center environment and during assessment. A
dog's behavior in an Animal Care Center may differ significantly from how they behave in a home. Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behaviormay change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.\"
She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by two dogs and tolerated them sniffing her, but she did not retum the greetings. After the dogs broke away, she began to roam the yard and explore. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. She continued to tolerate dogs approaching and sniffing her, but she did not retum the greetings. She was mounted by a male shepherd and offered him no corrections. Ahandler steered him away for her. She remained calm and tolerant for the rest of her time in the yard. She would approach the handlers and seek affection. Due to not doing well with small animals or children per the previous and a previous incident in the home, she will require a known history of aggression disclosure form. She will also be no small animals required and adults only required.
