STAFF OBSERVATIONS
07/22/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog was observed giving appropriate but tense greetings and presenting assertive behaviors with other dogs in playgroup.
07/27/26 Dog was easy to leash and walk. Once in yard dog was mildly head shy and mainly kept to self. Dog was out for enrichment.

07/23/26 11:41 Patient care board: FL elbow/lameness. Pt is BAR in kennel. Non-weight bearing LFL. Rads need will be taken if time allows. Per RVT and protocol start on Gabapentin BID x 10 days and Carprofen SID x 5 days.
07/23/26 13:02 P was sedated when I checked P, aggressive per staff stiff left elbow - cannot flex or extend. painful. lateral side of elbow is protruding P didn't show lameness according to intake note a month ago but not sure how P really was on 6.25.26. RAD : deformed left distal humerus, thickened with osteophytes. no fracture line is seen r/o previous injury, tumor, arthritis, fungal infection etc plan) contacted rescue for further dx and tx consider front limb amputation if rescue is not found - put on sx list staff reported P is quite aggressive - possibly due to pain will check on P tomorrow - pain level, behavior, etc
07/24/26 08:46 BAR, water/food bowl empty, no BM noted in kennel, ate morning meds eagerly, ok to kennel per note on kennel card. Was able to walk patient this morning, walked well with no signs of aggression or lameness. Urine WNL, BM initially 2/7 FS and then 5 and 6/7 FS.
07/25/26 13:13 P favors the left front limb. often holding it up but P can put weight on it and walk somewhat ok
