He was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He approached a female Malinois and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He then began to roam the yard and explore. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. He tolerated a male Malinois puppy playfully jumping on him and offered no corrections. But he declined his invitations to play. He remained social for the rest of his time in the yard. There were dogs playing during his time in the yard, but he did not engage in or entice any play. He did mount a couple of dogs during his time in the yard, but he was easily steered by the handlers. He would approach the handlers when called and sought affection. Mac is social with the other dogs, but he displayed no play style at this time.

He was taken to the catch pen for the handling assessment after play group. He approached with soft body language and began seeking affection. He allowed the handler to pet his head with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his teeth with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his ears with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch and lift his back paws with no reaction. He allowed the handler to touch his tail without issue. When the handler touched his front paws, he gently pulled them away. He displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler. He was retumed to his kennel without issue.
