A4221667 Blackie is a chummy 9-year-old male black Australian Cattle Dog who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on March 18th because his family moved and abandoned him. 32-lb Blackie is a bundle of love -- he's sociable and quick to wail his tail, and he wants to sit in everyone's lap! He quickly became a volunteer favorite. He?s good on leash, shows signs of housebreaking, and is polite to other dogs. Poor Blackie seems to have had a rough life so far and shows signs of neglect -- he has a \"cherry eye\" an inflamed inner eyelid that is easily removed by a vet. This good boy deserves a good home and we think he?d get along well in just about any situation.
