She entered the play yard with concemed eyes and a tucked tail. She was approached by a female Pitbull. She became wary with wide eyes and backing up. She was then approached by a male shepherd and displayed the same behavior. She stayed by the fence for some time after this. She would tolerate dogs approaching her and sniffing her, but she had concemed eyes After some time, she began to venture out and explore the yard. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. She began to grow more in confidence, approaching and exchangng soft greetings with the other dogs. She was approached by male shepherd that was consistently pushy in his attempts to try and engage her in play. She eventually gave him an appropriate air snap correction She remained social for the rest of her time in the yard, but she was more comfortable around the calmer dogs. There were dogs playing during her time in the yard. but she did not engage in or entice any play. She would approach the handlers and seek affection. Avery is social with the other dogs, but she displayed no play style at this time and would do best with a calmer dog.
